USEFUL INTERACTIVE ING DIRECT SAVINGS WIDGET

Technology and the Internet give us the tools to find out all sorts of information these days, and also give us the ability to be able to do things more conveniently too.

 

Like online banking for instance. I know I would be lost without mine. With a current, bills and savings account I am constantly transferring money from one to the other. However I must admit I need to be transferring more into my Savings Accounts each week. 

 

Its always interesting to know what other peoples savings are like and without asking them directly we can rely on super tech online tools like the ING Direct bank widget to give us our answers. 

 

This interactive widget is for residents based in the UK and will let you know how much people are saving on average per region. You can compare up to six regions and it gives you the motivation and an idea of what you should have in savings yourself. 

 

Are you from a low or high savings region? You'll have to let me know in comments. My area was into the £2k mark but another I found it to be as high as 5k. Its quite fun actually clicking each region and being nosey!
